  1. The first is to ALWAYS chose YOU.  See yourself in your true light and love what you see in the mirror everyday.
  2. Be a servant of love. God created you in your authentic self, to be a servant to spread love in the world.  Use your gifts.
  3. KEEP your GRATITUDE, YOUR FAITH, YOUR ABUNDANCE and journal daily on it.
  4. Be a teacher of love. When you chose this; love will follow you. Replace the thoughts of negative behavior in your mind, chose again and replace it with positive affirmations.
  5. Let go of your fears and ego and be still in your day. Set aside 5 or 10 minutes to sit in silence; to meditate or just be still.  You will be surprised at how this can greatly affect your thoughts and how you feel in your day.

How to find the Positive out of a Bad Day

We all have them right?  Those days that start off without a restful sleep. You toss and turn and your brain WILL NOT SHUT OFF!  You look at the clock and watch the time roll from 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 (OMG will I ever fall asleep).  You finally are able to shut your brain down around 4:30 and the alarm goes off at 6 am.  UGH UGH UGH!!!

From this point on you have set the path for your day, wanting to pull the covers over your head and lose yourself in the sleepy slumber you missed the night before. You begin your day planning for the worst possible outcome. A sluggish day, non production and anxiety; where fear and ego take over and nothing seems to go your way because you have allowed yourself to cultivate the worst picture in your mind. Instead of this picture what would you envision as a perfect day?

So yesterday was one of those days for me.  I have had so many different ideas and projects going in my mind that it was hard for me to shut them off.  I continually analyze and over analyze each scenario. I make notes and more notes and spin and spin and spin.  Anyone else do that?  I went to bed feeling ready for sleep and then I woke up around 12:30 to start the whole process of what if’s, trying desperately to go to sleep.  I turned on my meditation app which usually helps.  I did fall asleep for a 1/2 hour but woke again in the tornado of my mind circling around and around a mix of explanations, advantages, disadvantages.  Well you get the picture; a train wreck! This led to a less than productive day filled with anxiety, depression, fears and just a blah day of self doubt and frustrations.  So I told myself “its ok” chalk this off as a day to just re-group and reflect.  So I stopped all my projects for the day.  I read a book.  I took a walk. I watched some programs on Netflix.  I turned off my brain for the day. I went to bed thanking God for allowing this day, knowing I could reflect on it tomorrow and see what the message truly was for me with a clear mind.

I woke up this morning determined to get myself out of my funk and be productive, to see why I had the day I did as they are all lessons to learn if we open up to receive them.  I went to the gym because exercise helps to clear your mind. There I envisioned what a good day looks like , a balance of organization to achieve my goals.

Once you can see past the issue and understand why your day unfolded as it did, to  receive the resolution, then it all becomes clear. There is a reason for everything that happens in our lives.  There are many different paths to take. If we slow down and breath we can see the possibilities. We can reach the highest good for ourselves, but we have to listen and let go of our ego based fears and adjust because it is life. We have one to live so lets make it GREAT!

So when you find yourself in those sleepless nights that make for a not so productive day know this:  We all have them. Every successful person has good and bad days.  The difference is you can either focus on the bad day or listen and learn from your inner thoughts; to see why or what triggered those thoughts. To do whatever you need to to re-ground yourself, to re-center your mind to trust in yourself, but to also trust in the universe and God; whoever your higher power. They have your back.  You just need to ask, your never alone.  Let yourself off the hook to ask for help to reach your goals.  Choose again, infinite possibilities await you, change your thought.  Wishing you slumber and infinite possibilities.

On The Fence

What motivates you? What does success mean to you? Are you still on the fence trying to figure yourself out? Our life flows and ebbs with our surroundings, with society, with all the social media that consumes our day.  STOP!

Get off the fence and stop following everyone else.  BE YOU!  Set your intentions and awaken your own creativity.  God made you in your own unique way for your own purpose. Your own motivation brings you success.  Your success brings you motivation.  Achievement further spurs you on.  Start now by setting achievable goals for yourself to help motivate you into your next goal.  Honor each goal that you have achieved.  Enjoy the process that gets you there, your worth it!  You have the power within you, bring it out and let it shine.  The world needs you!!!

Hopes and Dreams

What is the one thing you want to do or achieve that a year from now you say “Wow I am so proud of myself for finally starting this goal in my life and achieving it”? We all procrastinate and put things on the back burner waiting for a sign or for someone to come along and magically make it happen for us.  Have you achieved your goals and dreams yet? Or are you still waiting for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  If you take small steps every single day toward your goal; you will eventually achieve it.  If you put a timeline on it and plan your days in order to reach your deadline at a certain time you can attain that.  So today take small steps toward achieving your goals.  WRITE IT DOWN! It can be as small as re-organizing your office space or kitchen.  Just plan, implement and achieve your goal.  Pretty soon all the big stuff will become the small stuff and your life will be so fulfilled with joy.  Make your hopes and dreams a reality; in the process you may help someone else with insight and inspiration and your story may breakthrough an obstacle that has been holding them back.

Speak to Yourself

I woke up wondering how will I feel today or what shall I write about and who am I talking to.  I asked God and the Universe to guide me in my day and show me what I need to know and who do I need to speak to; who do I need to serve.  Well the answer for me is first and foremost I am speaking to myself, as only then will I speak to others; if I believe in the words I am speaking. So going through some notes and positive affirmations this spoke to me this morning. @gabbybernstein

Step 4: Access Your Power in the Service of Others
I recently heard Marianne Williamson say in a lecture, “I’ll tell you how to find your power: Use your power for someone who has none.” She nailed it! There’s no greater way to tap into your power then to be in the service of someone who has none. If you’re feeling disempowered, immediately find a way to serve. Go to a homeless shelter, mentor a child — do anything that helps you discover your power and use it in service of someone else. This radical action will instantly remind you of how powerful you really are and reinforce the essential idea that your power is best used to lift up others and serve the world.

I often find myself helping others without even realizing I am doing it. When you truly listen to others speak, you can hear their inner voice asking for your guidance. I have found so many times that when a friend asks for guidance I have all the answers and advice and am able to help guide them on their path but so many times I miss listening to my own guidance. Be still and listen.

Lift up yourself, lift up others.

Love and Light,
